DENVER CAREER COLLEGE CHANGES NAME TO KAPLAN COLLEGE

Kaplan Higher Education Begins Rebranding Campaign for Brick and Mortar Schools

THORNTON, CO., November 13, 2006 - Kaplan Higher Education today announced that Denver Career College will now be known as Kaplan College, as of October 16, 2006.  The name change is part of a broader strategy to better reflect the Kaplan brand, with select schools changing their names to Kaplan College or Kaplan Career Institute.

Denver Career College is the first of the Kaplan campuses to change its name to Kaplan College.  Kaplan College has existing locations in Seattle, Wash., and Milwaukee, Wis., which were opened earlier this year.  To celebrate its new name, the Denver campus will host a ceremony on Monday, Nov. 13, which will include the unveiling of the new Kaplan College sign.

By changing its name to Kaplan College, the school will be formally recognized as being part of the Kaplan family.  Kaplan, Inc. is a global provider of education services, and its name reflects a long-standing reputation for excellence.

Kaplan College – Denver is located in Thornton, Colo., and currently offers seven associate degree and certificate programs including massage therapy, general practice paralegal, criminal justice, medical assistant, pharmacy technician, medical office specialist and paralegal studies.
