Hagerstown Business CollegeFrederick Holds Summer 2006 Graduation

 

76 Grads Enter Frederick Area Dental and Medical Assisting Workforce

 

 

Frederick, MD, July 7, 2006Hagerstown Business CollegeFrederick announced that it will hold graduation ceremonies tomorrow morning for 76 students who have earned their certificates in Dental Assistant and Medical Assistant.  The graduation ceremony will be held at Tuscarora High School at 5312 Ballenger Creek Pike in Frederick at 11:00 a.m.  Justin D. Berkowitz, Executive Director of Hagerstown Business College, will deliver the commencement address.

 

“Graduation day is a great day for our college,” Berkowitz said. “On this day, our students are being honored and recognized for their long awaited accomplishments. Congratulations to our graduates, for turning their dreams into a reality.”

Hagerstown Business College has campuses in Hagerstown and Frederick, Md.  The Frederick campus currently offers certificate programs in Medical Assistant and Dental Assistant and occupies a 13,000 square-foot facility at 5301 Buckeystown Pike, Suite 150, in Frederick, Md. The campus, which opened in 2004, recently expanded by adding additional lab and administration facilities, including a 30-seat Nova Computer Lab with flat screen computers, a projection system, a new medical lab and a new administration and admissions area.  The school now features full lecture classrooms, two computer labs, a library and three lab facilities for both medical and dental studies with three fully functioning dental chairs and x-ray units.
