SCORE! Educational Centers Opens First Center in Southern New Jersey

Cherry Hill Center Marks 163rd Nationwide; Fourth in Philadelphia/New Jersey Market

Chicago, IL, February 2, 2005 -- SCORE! Educational Centers, Inc., a subsidiary of Kaplan, Inc., has opened a new learning center in the Ellisburg Shopping Center located at 1620 North Kings Highway in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The new center is the fourth SCORE! Center to open in the Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia area since June 2004. Overall, this will be the 163rd center nationwide for SCORE!

SCORE! helps students become life-long learners by developing critical academic skills, goal-setting abilities, self-confidence and a love of learning. Each SCORE! Academic Director works with seven students or less, offering a high level of personal attention. Students work on a sophisticated software program that is tailored to meet each child’s specific goals and needs. As the child progresses, the program adjusts to a more advanced level, providing a highly customized and challenging learning experience.

Nationwide, there are 163 SCORE! Educational Centers that serve approximately 80,000 students annually. SCORE! has centers in 12 states, including Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, California, Colorado, Georgia, Massachusetts, and Texas.
