SCORE! Opens 39th Learning Center in Southern California

Second Granada Hills Location to Offer Intensive, Customized Learning Program

Chicago, IL, May 10, 2004 -- SCORE! Educational Centers, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kaplan, Inc., will open a second location in Granada Hills, CA, on Friday, May 14, 2004. The new center will be located next door to the existing SCORE! Center at 18029 Chatsworth Boulevard, Granada Hills, CA 91344. This will be the 39th SCORE! Center to open in Southern California.

Known as a Personal Academic Training (PAT) Center, the facility will offer students a concentrated program designed to help them improve math, reading, or writing skills. With each instructor assigned to three students or less, this highly customized curriculum is perfect for students who need to make immediate progress and for those who would benefit from a high level of personal attention. There are four other PAT locations in Southern California, including Pasadena, Long Beach, Placentia, and Thousand Oaks.
