Kaplan Launches Two New Online Test Prep Programs for Prospective Law Students

New Web-based Courses Provide Options for Busy Students

New York, NY, (June 9, 2004) - Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions, a leader in online test prep and education, has launched two new online test prep programs for prospective law students. Kaplan's new Web-based courses provide increased flexibility and convenience, offering preparation options to busy pre-law students preparing for the difficult Law School Admissions Test (LSATĀ®).

"We are offering a variety of LSAT test prep options to give students the opportunity to choose the one that fits best with their situation and study habits," said Justin Serrano, General Manager, Graduate Programs for Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions.

LSAT Premium Online is the most robust online LSAT prep available in the market today. The LSAT Premium course is designed for people who need complete test preparation but who might not be able to access Kaplan live options due to geography or schedule. The second program, LSAT Online, is a self-directed, Flash-based program. Both courses are available for students who are preparing to take the October LSAT.

"Both of our new online products enable aspiring lawyers to prepare for the Law School Admissions Test online while juggling competing demands," Serrano added. He noted that online learning has grown rapidly in popularity. Education research firm Eduventures estimates that enrollment in online distance-education programs will grow 30% in 2004 to reach an estimated 915,000 students.

With the LSAT Premium Online course, students receive the study and preparation materials of Kaplan's classroom course - lessons-on-demand, home study kit, preparation book, 6 full-length tests - minus live instruction and proctored exams. LSAT Online provides students with the preparation book and 4 full-length LSATs.

Kaplan is an established leader in providing online legal education. In 1999, Kaplan launched Concord Law School, the first and only wholly online law school nationwide, to make a high-quality legal education broadly accessible and affordable.
