Anthony Schools Teams With Coldwell Banker in Los Angeles, Furthers Position As California's Largest Provider of Real Estate Pre-licensure Education

Irvine, CA, March 20, 2003 - Anthony Schools, part of the network of Kaplan Professional Schools, a leading provider of real estate, insurance and securities education, today announced that it has entered into a regional educational agreement with Coldwell Banker, the top real estate brokerage firm in Greater Los Angeles. By terms of the agreement, Anthony Schools will provide pre-licensure education to Coldwell Banker's potential recruits.

In being named Coldwell Banker's provider of choice in California, Anthony Schools strengthens its position as the leading provider of pre-licensure education to California's growing real estate profession. In 2002, more than 50 percent of new state licensees received their pre-licensure education through Anthony. According to data from the state's Department of Real Estate, the number of licensed real estate professionals in California (which includes brokers and salespersons) has been steadily increasing since 1999, totaling more than 333,800 today.

Coldwell recruits will take courses alongside Anthony Schools' students, learning the core competencies necessary to become licensed real estate professionals.
