Kaplan Will Not Go Forward with Plan to Acquire Former Arthur D. Little School of Management
November 6, 2002 - Kaplan, Inc. will not go forward with its plan to acquire the former Arthur D. Little School of Management, the two parties announced today. Kaplan's Higher Education division, a fast-growing provider of post-secondary programs, had signed an agreement in August to acquire the assets of the school, contingent upon Kaplan's ability to obtain regulatory and other approvals.
