Allan Waren Named Program Chair, Kaplan College School Of Information Technology

New York, NY and Davenport, IA, May 1, 2002 - Kaplan College, an accredited higher education leader, enrolling students in campus-based and fully online programs in business and information technology, has formed a strategic partnership with Kingsborough Community College, a college of the City University of New York (CUNY). This partnership enables Kingsborough associate's degree graduates to transfer their credits as a block toward Kaplan College's online Bachelor of Science in Management degree.

"Our partnership with Kingsborough fits this mission and will enable Kingsborough graduates to take advantage of the unparalleled convenience of online education to position themselves for greater career success."

Kaplan College will waive its admissions exam for Kingsborough associate's degree holders, and provided they meet other admissions requirements, will enroll them as juniors in its Bachelor of Science in Management degree program, which offers concentrations in Applied Management and Information Technology Management.
