ALPHARETTA, GA - January 2002 - Self Test Software, the world leader in vendor authorized certification practice tests, announced today that in recognition of the quality of their CompTIA practice tests, Self Test has attained the status of being a CompTIA Authorized Quality Curriculum (CAQC) Provider. Meeting the strictest quality standards set by CompTIA, Self Test's A+ practice test was reviewed by experts to ensure it meets exacting requirements with regard to the complete coverage of exam content, as well as excellent content layout and instructional design material that helps certification candidates judge their learning or readiness for the certification exam.

Launched in December 2001, the CAQC program comes in response to the growing demand for CompTIA technical certifications. In 2001 Microsoft selected CompTIA certifications as an alternative to passing an elective exam in the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator on Windows 2000 certification. Through independent third-party experts, CompTIA reviews and analyzes available training programs and content to ensure that they will effectively help certification candidates prepare for the exam.
