Kaplan College Names Kenneth Zahn to Financial Planning Advisory Board

New York, October 22, 2001 Kaplan College, a leading provider of online Bachelor, Associate and Certificate programs, has named Kenneth Zahn, CFP , to its Financial Planning Advisory Board. The Certificate in Financial Planning, which Kaplan College launched in February 2001, is the only fully online program offering the educational requirements necessary to achieve the Certified Financial Planner certification. Kenneth Zahn is a respected financial planner and is one of the original founding officers of the Tampa Bay Society of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners.

In addition to his career as a financial planner, Zahn has also had a distinguished career as an educator. He has brought his knowledge of financial planning to the classroom at the National Institute of Finance as well as at the College for Financial Planning in the Denver area. At the College for Financial Planning, he served as an adjunct faculty member from 1986 to 2001. Outside of the classroom, he has been developing continuing education courses for insurance agents and financial planners since 1990. Zahn's extensive experience in both financial planning and educating make him a perfect fit for Kaplan College's Financial Planning Advisory Board.
