Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft Outsources Software Training to Perfect Access Speer

New York, NY/Minneapolis, MN, May 24, 2001 - Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, one of the world's leading international law firms, has outsourced its software training to Perfect Access Speer, a leading provider of software education and consulting to the legal, corporate and financial markets in North America. Perfect Access Speer is providing full time on-site management and software training to more than 600 attorneys and administrative staff at Cadwalader's New York office for the next three years.

"Our Training Department Outsourcing Service offers long-term on-site placements of training managers, trainers, documentation specialists, and e-learning specialists, and we're delighted to launch this new service with Cadwalader," said Bonnie Speer McGrath, President of Perfect Access Speer. "The idea for this service came from Greta Ostrovitz, the forward-thinking Director of IT at Cadwalader. This service complements the consulting and education services that we offer, which are typically geared to the initial rollout of a firm's technology."

"Cadwalader is committed to ensuring that all employees stay current with software skills to provide the best service to the firm's clients. The Perfect Access Speer trainers provide one-on-one training for our attorneys, usually right at their desks, which is a tremendous benefit for attorneys whose schedules make it difficult to attend traditional classroom training sessions," said Ostrovitz. "The Perfect Access Speer trainers will complement and work closely with the firm's IT Help Desk. Software application inquiries will be referred to the trainers, freeing the Help Desk technicians to provide more efficient service for system-related issues."

Linda Swartz, Chairperson of Cadwalader's Technology Committee and a partner in the New York Tax Department agrees. "By ensuring that our attorneys and staff keep abreast of the latest software, document management and technological innovations, we continue to enhance our ability to quickly deliver and share information with each other and with our clients."

The trainers from Perfect Access Speer provide immediate assistance to Cadwalader attorneys and staff who have questions about using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access, PC Docs, InterAction, CompareRite, Lotus Notes and the firm's time entry system.
