Kaplan Partners with iTurf to Expand Access to College Admissions Services
SparkNotes To Partner With Kaplan -- Over 500 SparkNotes Study Guides To Be Available for Fall Semester
New York (July 24, 2000) – iTurf Inc. (Nasdaq: TURF), the leading online proprietary network for teens and young adults, today announced a partnership with kaptest.com, Kaplan, Inc.'s test preparation and admissions Web site, which will expand the educational offerings on SparkNotes.com, iTurf's academic resource site. Under the terms of the agreement, kaptest.com and SparkNotes.com will develop a free test prep and admissions area on the SparkNotes Web site to help college and pre-college students navigate the admissions process.
SparkNotes.com will offer Kaplan's nationally-recognized test prep content, including kaptest.com's newly-developed Test Samplers and representative practice tests with answers and explanations. The test prep center will include information on the PSAT, SAT, SAT II, ACT, Advanced Placement (AP), LSAT, GRE, GMAT and MCAT exams. Articles, features, and practice questions related to entrance exams, admissions, college selection and career information will run periodically on the site.
