Kaptest.com and eXLearn.com to Offer Online Test Prep and Admissions Services

New York (April 20, 2000) – Kaptest.com, the leading test preparation and admissions services Web site, and eXLearn.com, an e-learning company launching Web portals in Asia, have partnered to host a new test preparation and admissions area on eXLearn.com, broadening access to Kaplan’s English language, pre-college, pre-graduate and professional development content to the Asian Internet market. Kaptest.com, a unit of Kaplan, Inc., the leader in educational and career services, will be the exclusive test prep and admissions provider for eXLearn.com, extending its services beyond its own successful Web site to reach individuals throughout Asia.

eXLearn.com will house Kaplan’s expert content, serving the increasing numbers of Asian and Asian American students applying to U.S. universities and Asian professionals learning business English. Content will include information on college entrance exams, the ACT, PSAT and SAT; graduate school entrance exams, the GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT and DAT; and English language programs such as the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam and English as a Second Language (ESL) curricula. The test prep center will also include articles, features and interactive tools that help students select the right school, learn about student life at American universities and understand the admissions process; links to Kaplan’s international programs for foreign students who wish to study in the U.S.; and links to registration for Kaplan’s online and in-center courses.
