National Institute of Paralegal Arts and Sciences Is Re-Named Kaplan College
Receives Approval to Offer Bachelor of Science Programs in Paralegal Studies, Criminal Justice
New York (August 3, 1999) The National Institute of Paralegal Arts and Sciences, part of Kaplan Educational Centers distance learning division, has been re-named Kaplan College. In addition, Kaplan College has received approval from the State of Florida Board of Independent Colleges and Universities to offer bachelor of science programs in criminal justice and paralegal studies. The programs are accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC).
Through its new School of Criminal Justice, Kaplan College has launched diploma, specialized associates degree, and bachelor of science degree programs, which give students a foundation in criminal justice principles and a broad liberal arts base. The School of Criminal Justice joins Kaplan Colleges School of Paralegal Studies and School of Legal Nurse Consulting.
