KAPLAN ACQUIRES CANADIAN TEST PREP FIRM U.S. CPA SUCCESS

New York, NY, May 30, 2007 – Kaplan, Inc. the global education firm provider, has acquired the Canadian test preparation firm U.S. CPA Success, based in Toronto.  Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Kaplan CPA Review, which on May 17 announced the release of new certified public accountant review materials, provides self-study materials in online, CD-ROM, video and textbook formats – as well as live classroom instruction.
 
U.S. CPA Success, formally known as U.S. ExamPrep Inc., offers intensive preparation sessions for the U.S. Uniform Certified Public Accountant test at locations in Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Montreal and Ottawa.  It also offers guided self-study programs.  In the U.S. Kaplan provides preparation for the CPA exam, along with training for a variety of other professional tests and certifications, including securities, insurance and real estate, along with higher education, test prep and language instruction programs.
