Career Centers of Texas’ Brownsville Campus appoints Robert Montz as New Executive Director
BROWNSVILLE, Texas, Jan. 15, 2009—The Career Centers of Texas Brownsville campus has announced the appointment of Robert Montz as the school's new executive director.
“Bob has a long and successful track record in our industry,” said Mark Ferguson, regional vice president of operations for the Texas West region of Kaplan Higher Education. “He is unusual in that he has deep experience in both education and admissions and we are fortunate to have him on our team. We look forward to watching the Brownsville campus grow under his leadership.”
Montz has more than 20 years of experience in educational leadership positions. Most recently, he was the director of operations for Kaplan Higher Education. Prior to that, he was the campus director of admissions for Corinthian Colleges, Inc. for two years after serving as their regional director of education. Montz held the title of director of education for 19 years at educational institutions that include Computer Learning Centers, ITT Technical Institute, CareerCom Corporation and National Educational Corporation.
Montz attended Louisiana Tech University and received a bachelor of science degree in business administration.
The Career Centers of Texas Brownsville campus is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT).
