Kaplan EduNeering and Pharmacy Benefit Management Institute (PBMI) Develop Alliance to Support Learning in the Healthcare Industry

October 23, 2008 – Princeton, New Jersey and Scottsdale, Ariz. – Kaplan EduNeering, a leading provider of compliance and knowledge management solutions, and the Pharmacy Benefit Management Institute, LP (PBMI) have formed an alliance to provide learning solutions for professionals involved in the delivery of drug benefit programs. Under the alliance, Kaplan and PBMI will develop a unique curriculum for human resource executives, benefit professionals, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) and managed care professionals.

“Our alliance will create online courses for organizations involved in managing the drug benefit for group health and Medicare Part D beneficiaries as well as specialized populations including Medicaid and workers compensation,” said Martha Braunstein, Senior Vice President and Healthcare Practice Leader for Kaplan EduNeering. “The training solutions will enable our health plan clients and PBMI customers to improve their benefit programs, business performance and customer service while also achieving compliance with the newest Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements.”
