The three non-credit programs may be completed in 12 months or less.
“The fields of project management, risk management, and executive coaching are experiencing exponential growth, providing a wealth of opportunities in the evolving business world,” said Kristina Belanger, Dean, Kaplan University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. “These occupations are leading choices for individuals seeking professional growth and diversity.” Project management students will learn to select, govern and implement organizational activities while optimizing resources, including time, money and human capital. As such skills are widely applicable, graduates will have a competitive advantage in a number of professional settings, including business services, information technology, construction, insurance, financial services, manufacturing, government, utilities, consulting, telecommunications, training/education, engineering, pharmaceuticals and healthcare.
Students in the Risk Management Certificate program will learn to assess risks, evaluate risk management solutions, and make decisions under conditions of uncertainty. Graduates will be prepared to pursue employment in diverse business practice settings, including: risk management, loss control, insurance, finance, accounting, government and independent consultancy.
The Executive Coaching program prepares students to train executives in developing high-performing cultures that strengthen business results. Coaches learn to artfully listen and answer questions to assess the client’s strengths, needs, and coachability.
